The life of St. Padre Pio Parish has been intimately tied to our patron saint, St. Padre Pio of Pietrelcina. It is the first church in Canada built in his honour and contains a number of his relics, including his gloves and chalice. The parish was established and founded on June 16, 2002, the same day that St. Padre Pio was canonized in Rome by Pope John Paul II. The church building was opened and dedicated by Archbishop Thomas Collins on September 23, 2010, the feast day of St. Padre Pio. From 2002 to 2010, the parish held mass in the school gym of St. Andrew's Catholic Elementary School. Since the church opened, thousands of people have come to find healing and consolation through the intercession of St. Padre Pio. Located in Kleinburg, Ontario, the Parish of St. Padre Pio is a focal point for devotees of Padre Pio from across Canada and beyond.

Memorial Mass – Remembering Our Departed Loved Ones

As part of our Jubilee Year celebrations, a special Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 13, at 7:00 PM, in loving memory of all those from our St. Padre Pio Parish community who have passed away over the last 25 years.
Family members, relatives, and friends are warmly invited to join us for this special celebration, as we remember our departed loved ones, and pray for the repose of their souls.
The names of all those whose funeral services were celebrated at St. Padre Pio Parish will be displayed during this special commemoration.
Together, let us honour their memory and give thanks to God for their lives, their faith, and their contributions to building our St. Padre Pio Parish community over the past 25 years.
Though they are no longer with us, their love, faith, and memories remain forever in our hearts.
May the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
